Tip #2: Help Them Recognize Opportunity. Even though many people are going through financial challenges now, it is important that we teach our children about money and focus on how to recognize opportunity.
Sure we want the best for our kids all the time. But in as much as we want to raise them in a world where they can socialize personally without the use of any gadgets or mobile phones, we can't just deny them the perks of what technology has to offer. We fear that they may get left behind by the children of their generation. But your role as a parent doesnt stop at the moment you hand your kid a mobile device; know that there are several ways in which you can monitor your childs interaction to keep them safe.
The main hurdle for myself as a parent was trying to teach her without always looking over her shoulder and maybe giving the wrong instructions. So I enrolled her into the swimming club at the hotel where we stayed. The instructor was a great help, giving the right swimming tips for kids and parents. Just what my daughter and I needed learn!
