Veggie Tales covers many themes, but there's one underlying concept that is always emphasized in all of their movies - learning Christian values through short stories from excerpts of the Bible or 'spoofing' other popular books or movies. Now if you have seen some really boring or poorly made Christian cartoons, as I have, you have been disappointed and concerned if there are anything available to satisfy your demand. These videos are simply wonderful and you must watch one to become a fan!
A child-carrier is always an option if you are able to hike comfortably with extra weight on your back. It can be a little tricky to get on so have someone there that can help you. To get used to the weight and get your toddler used to being in it, just wear it while you are doing chores or other stuff around the house.
Don't bother posing your little ones, 9 times out of 10 they won't have the patience for it anyway. Instead, find a good park or busy playground and go on an adventure with them. Allow them to tell you what to do and while they enjoy the moment you capture it for them. This may take a couple times practice, but eventually your child will get use to you having a camera in hand and forget it's even present. Children have such great imaginations and you will actually enjoy the things your child will share with you as you both create memories.
